The Friends of Clapton Cinematograph Theatre have invited the eminent  cinema historian Dr Nicholas Hiley of Kent University to give a talk on  the early days of cinema during the 2012 Clapton Festival weekend (15th-17th June ). Look out for further details of this event and the Festival  weekend which will be appearing on this website shortly.

The following meetings are scheduled for 2012.  Unless otherwise indicated they will be held in the Elderfield (57 Elderfield Road, E5 0LF), starting at 7:30pm.
